A great choice to help sustain native honey bees, butterflies and birds! Ironweed is a tall upright plant reaching 4-6 ft in height. Covering in beautiful purple flowers, it can tolerate a range of soil conditions, even heavy clay. It can also tolerate a range of moisture as long as it is not constantly standing in water. Does great in a more naturalised garden or as part of a border. Ironweed is also deer resistant so it is a great all-around plant with amazing blooms!
