Beautiful light yellow flowers appears on stalks that sway in the breeze for this pretty little prairie flower. The leaves droop slightly to give them an almost pyramid shape, and the stalks range from 1-5 ft in height. As a prairie flower it does demand full sun but is adaptable to many kinds of soil. It is loved by butterflies and bees alike and blooms during the heat of summer, making it worth your while to wander your garden even if it is hot.
As with some of the other more recent seeds, the small dark objects in the image are seeds so they are pretty tiny! I will encase a bit more so that you can find them, but I am also charging a bit more for these since it takes me longer to sort through the debris to get out the seeds.
Cost is for 10 seeds; shipping throughout Ontario comes at no extra cost.
